Very good and I'm not just comparing to E3. Sure, 75% of the stuff we already knew about, but we got to see some nice trailers and Japanese booth babes to go along with them. Hardware side, there wasn't much besides more pointless info on the DSi. Software side is where the show shined with one of the best surprise IMO, No More Heroes 2 !!!
Seriously, No More Heroes 2, I never saw this coming, mainly because of the poor sales in Japan, but Suda51 believes in the potential of the Wii and wanted Travis to make a comeback. So here's hoping for an early 2010 release.
Phantasy Star Zero (PSØ) is another title that I'm looking forward to. I'm a big fan of PSO and I was disappointed with PSU, so a revert back to the original formula might prove successful, in my eyes anyway.
Other games I might just pickup if I like them after trying:
Street Fighter IV: Having all the other SF games running on an arcade emulator, I'd need a lot of convincing before buying this one, especially since it looks like another incarnation of SFII.
King of Fighters XII: Same deal as SFIV, SNK will need to prove themselves by making this more than a sequel.
Chrono Trigger DS: If the touch screen controls are decent, the translation is better than the previous one and that the cinematics of the PSX version are there, I'll pick this one up.
Anyway, back to the regular schedule for next week
